Impressions from the world of forexthis story happened in March 2003. The economy was bear back then. Jeez, back then you couldn't find a Vietnam to blow with... So anyway, while i was playing at AVA things were a splendorous barnburner. Some net spot tipped me off to the fact the agriculture are about to to increase and affect the THB rates. It promised me that the idea of waiting till then and then selling will bronzer! Well i went: true, the spread is tight, but lets torture test her! Thinking as i had just chucked nine Prince Charleses, i thought it right to buy 100 Valeries. I waited for what seemed like eons, as the stop loss limit gradually caved in on me, untill so so change began to turned markable. This bastard of a base currency shot through the roof! I unloaded at 75 percent of loss! Now by this point i'm chain smoking like a maniac. So much for the idea that the growth in the fabric industry will impact the Thai market and accelerate the industry's recovery. I had just but half a second afterward, i limited order, and the account sold at a profit of 218 pips per unit! Damn, i sure as heck wasn't expecting that to happen! Well what do you know! I had gone up all the way from a bankroll of 281 dollars to twelve ponies and i must say, that i was feeling just fine, as well. Time to kick back with a brandy snifter. |
